Baptism (Christening) is the joining ceremony of the Christian Church. Parents and God parents make solemn promises about their own faith and the way in which they will raise their child. We welcome enquiries from anyone.  If you feel the promises may be difficult for you to keep, there is always the option of a Thanksgiving service

Your child is precious to you and precious to God. At baptism you make a decision to start your child on a journey of faith. The church and the Godparents support the family and the child in this decision

We also welcome adults who want to be baptized.

It is always a difficult time when a loved one dies, even if it is expected. The Church is here to offer comfort and support to you during this time of bereavement.

A funeral is the opportunity for friends and family to express their grief, to give thanks for the life which has now completed its journey in this world and to remember Jesus promise of eternal life for all who follow him.

Our Priest in Charge will help you through the arrangements for the funeral (see the Church team page for contact number).
